Autumn Construction has installed a Hyper Heat system for the O’Hare Airport Transit System (OATs) maintenance facility. This specialized split unit is manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric and designed to efficiently heat the facility space using advanced cold-climate heat pump technology. The smart system is programmed to perform at 100% efficiency down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and it will work at 76% efficiency from 0 degrees to -13 degrees Fahrenheit. The Mitsubishi Hyper Heat system will keep the OATs occupants comfortable all year round, even in those harsh winter months!
